Ringbrothers Turn Rat Rod Winnebago into a Tailgater’s Dream RV
|
You can never go wrong with a classic Winnebago, so when a 1972 Winnebago Brave popped up at this year’s Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jim and Mike Ring, owners of the custom-car shop Ringbrothers, knew they had to get their hands on it. Labeled a rat rod, the Brave was in less than stellar condition due to multiple mechanical issues, but that didn’t stop the brothers from shelling out $12,100 for the RV. They took the Winnebago back to their home of Spring Green, Wisconsin, and within a mere six months, they revitalized the Brave, turning it into a quirky party camper fit for any tailgate - pizza oven included!
